Description

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) seeks a qualified vendor to provide mental‑wellness screening examinations for up to 60 law‑enforcement officers and civilian staff in the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit each year. Services must include comprehensive clinical evaluations, confidentiality‑focused reporting, and the ability to defend assessment methods in legal settings. The contract is a fixed‑fee, two‑year term with up to three one‑year renewal options, and the vendor must supply qualified Ph.D.–level clinicians, maintain malpractice insurance, and comply with strict confidentiality and reporting rules. • Provide ≤ 60 mental‑wellness screenings annually (bi‑annual general assessments) for ALEA ICAC personnel. • Must employ licensed Ph.D.–level psychologists (or equivalent) with experience in employment‑screening, ADA‑compliant fitness‑for‑duty assessments, and legal defensibility of evaluation methods. • Deliver confidential reporting to ALEA only under specified risk or consent conditions, maintain liability insurance, and submit invoices per the fixed‑fee arrangement.

Budget estimate

$30,000 – $80,000

No specific contract value is disclosed. Assuming a typical cost of $300‑$600 per individual mental‑wellness screening, the maximum annual volume (60 screenings) would generate $18,000‑$36,000 per year. Over the base two‑year contract this yields a range of roughly $36,000‑$72,000, with potential additional revenue if renewal options are exercised. Thus a reasonable estimate for the total contract value is approximately $30,000‑$80,000, depending on the vendor’s fee structure and any ancillary services.
