Installation & Take Down of Holiday Lights on Downtown Trees

The City of Holland is seeking bids for the installation and take down of holiday lights on downtown Holland trees. The contract is for a three-year period, and the selected vendor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for the installation, maintenance, take down, and storing of holiday lights for 195 trees located throughout downtown Holland and 37 trees around the perimeter of Centennial Park. The vendor must also provide a set number of service calls regarding outages and damaged light strings. • The bid should include the total cost to complete the job for each year, including 12 call outs/repairs. • The bid should be broken down into separate costs for the 195 trees downtown and the 37 trees around Centennial Park. • The vendor must meet all State of Michigan licensing requirements and have adequate liability and worker’s compensation coverage. • The vendor must provide a sworn statement that all bills for labor and material have been paid. • The City of Holland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bids received.
