Description
The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control is seeking a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for animal licensing and control. The platform should be able to streamline the processes of animal licensing, registration, and renewal, while also improving compliance, animal safety, and community engagement. The contractor will be expected to provide services 24/7, with limited services on County-recognized holidays. The contract term is anticipated to be for a period of three years with four one-year option terms.
• The contractor must have at least three years of experience providing animal licensing system and related services to animal sheltering agencies and/or humane societies that process at least 20,000 licenses annually.
• The contractor must have at least two years of experience providing services to at least one government agency within the United States.
• The contractor's animal licensing system and related services must have the capability to mail and email license renewal and expiration notices to residents.
• The contractor's animal licensing system and related services must have the capability to process payments by credit card, cash, and check.
