Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking bids for the replacement of a fire station roof. The project involves removing the existing roofing system, inspecting and repairing the deck, and installing a new EPDM roofing system. The contractor will also be responsible for providing new gutters, downspouts, and facia as necessary. The project is expected to start within 120 calendar days after notice to proceed and must be completed within the same timeframe.
• The contractor must provide a 25-year warranty for the roofing system.
• The contractor must use a fully adhered 0.090 white EPDM roofing system.
• The contractor must provide a site superintendent and a site safety health officer (SSHO) who will be on site at all times during work.
• The contractor must use Autodesk Construction Cloud or an equivalent project management and documentation platform.
• The contractor must provide as-built drawings and documentation at the end of the project.
