Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide patient ceiling lifts for the William S Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, WI. The lifts must meet specific requirements, including a minimum weight capacity of 700 lbs, an integrated scale, and a 2-point hanger bar. The contractor will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of the lifts. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer.
• The lifts must be compatible with other vendor loop-based slings.
• The contractor must provide a five-year summary of all relevant device recalls, safety notices, corrective actions, and adverse event reports.
• The contractor must provide certification for compliance with VA requirements.
• The contractor must provide training for required personnel on proper operation and maintenance of the lift system.
