6640--Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Roche Tests - NIHCS

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10, Northern Indiana VAHCS, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Roche Diagnostics Corp., for the provision of various medical tests and reagents. The tests will be used with existing Roche Cobas Pros instruments for testing. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated and shall be awarded. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and responses must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing various medical tests and reagents, including A1C, Acetaminophin, AFP, ALB, and many others • Utilizing existing Roche Cobas Pros instruments for testing • A firm fixed price contract is anticipated • The contract will be awarded to Roche Diagnostics Corp.
