McGinnis Slough Multi-Use Path, Phase II Design Engineering

The Village of Orland Park is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide Phase II Design Engineering Services for the McGinnis Slough multi-use path. The project involves the construction of a multi-use path through the ComEd corridor in the Cook County Forest Preserve's McGinnis Slough property. The selected consultant will be responsible for delivering IDOT-approved Phase II Plans, Specifications, and Estimates, and will provide services including design, demolition documents, ROW/easement acquisitions, construction cost and quantity estimates, public meetings, schedules, and all other related items. The project is expected to be funded by Surface Transportation Program (STP) funds, Invest in Cook funds (IIC), and local funds provided by the Village. • The project scope includes the construction of a multi-use path through the ComEd corridor in the Cook County Forest Preserve's McGinnis Slough property. • The path will extend along Wolf Road to Brigitte Terrace. • The improvement will significantly enhance non-motorized connectivity in the Village by linking Wolf Road and LaGrange Road. • The selected consultant will be responsible for preparing and submitting scope of services that meet the project's deliverable requirements. • The consultant will be responsible for ensuring all environmental requirements are satisfied in Phase II.
