Description
The City of Columbus, Division of Water is seeking a vendor to provide annual service and preventative maintenance for two Shimadzu Total Organic Carbon Analyzer systems. The service should be equivalent to the Extended Warranty Plus offered by Shimadzu Scientific Instruments, Inc. The scope of work includes a combination of one scheduled Premium PM visit and Extended Warranty Coverage per service agreement year. The vendor will provide labor and parts necessary to restore the instrument to operating specifications, excluding consumables. The coverage period is from 12/1/2025 to 11/30/2026. The key requirements for the vendor include:
• Providing a combination of one scheduled Premium PM visit and Extended Warranty Coverage per service agreement year
• Including labor and parts necessary to restore the instrument to operating specifications, excluding consumables
• Adding a travel charge to the contract to cover travel costs
• Having the option to provide on-site repair service, repair the product at a service center, or provide necessary replacement parts with installation instructions and/or phone support
• Excluding repairs related to adverse environmental conditions, services necessitated by neglect, contamination by external sources, misuse, improper operation or maintenance, and work necessitated by damage from accident, fire, water, vandalism, electrical power failure, or any other casualty.
