The Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical School District seeks a qualified contractor to furnish and install a single commercial‑grade, natural‑gas‑fired, condensing domestic hot‑water heater (approximately 119 gal) at Minuteman High School. The scope includes removal of the existing unit, provision of all required piping, venting, electrical work, permits, inspections, and full commissioning. Bidders must hold Massachusetts plumbing and gas‑fitting licenses and comply with state prevailing‑wage requirements. An optional site walkthrough is scheduled for March 3, 2026, and questions must be submitted by March 4, 2026. The bid will open on March 10, 2026.
• Supply and install a 119‑gallon A.O. Smith Cyclone Mxi‑type hot‑water heater or approved equivalent.
• Perform complete demolition, disposal, venting, condensate handling, electrical connections, and obtain all permits/inspections.
• Coordinate work to minimize disruption to school operations and provide post‑installation testing and training.
