The Puget Sound VA Medical Center is seeking a contractor to refurbish elevators in Building 61, cars 1-3. The project requires the contractor to have experience in construction management, particularly in elevator construction. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including design, procurement, and installation. The project duration is expected to be 435 days. The contractor will be required to provide a full-time superintendent and a dedicated site safety and health officer (SSHO) for the entirety of the project. The contractor will also be responsible for conducting video recorded trainings and hiring commercial photographers and videographers. * The contractor must have at least 5 years of construction management experience and a degree in construction management or a related field. * The contractor must have experience in elevator construction and be able to demonstrate technical proficiency in this area. * The contractor must be able to provide a project manager and superintendent who meet the minimum qualification requirements. * The contractor will be required to provide badging for all staff on site, including the site superintendent and foreman of the subcontractor. * The contractor will be responsible for purchasing and maintaining any necessary software for submittal transfers and construction management.
