Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide preventative maintenance services for air compressors at the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina. The contract will include quarterly minor and major services, as well as unscheduled repairs. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, travel, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary to perform the services. The contract will have a base year and four option years.
• The contractor will provide three quarterly minor services and one quarterly major service for each compressor.
• The contractor will replace all filter elements, check for leaks, and clean the air-cooled condenser.
• The contractor will inspect the refrigerated dryer and desiccant dryer for proper operation.
• The contractor will test run each unit to check the operating condition before placing them back online.
• The contractor will provide a report of service each quarter after all preventive maintenance occurs.
• The contractor will ensure all systems are in fully operational status after PM's are completed.
