Description
The US Government Publishing Office is seeking a contractor to produce 27 perfect bound books with a trim size of 8.5 x 11". The books will have 104 text pages, plus covers 1, 2, 3, and 4, and a spine. The contractor must set up the cover and spine signature, impose spine artwork onto the cover signature, and print the covers and text using a 4-color process. The contractor must also perfect bind the books, with the covers and spine printed in a 4-color process plus a flood coat in matte aqueous or varnish coating.
• The contractor must deliver the finished products to the specified locations by 03/02/2026.
• The contractor must provide proofs to the department, which must be bound and include all elements in the proper position.
• The contractor must use a RIP that provides an option for high-quality color matching, such as Device Links Technology and/or ICC Profiles.
• The contractor must produce the entire job using either conventional offset or digital printing, with no split production methods allowed without prior approval.
