Description
The City of Birmingham is seeking qualified vendors to supply commercial‑grade HVAC equipment and repair parts—including compressors, heat pumps, condensers, refrigerants, electric motors, and ice makers—for any city department on an as‑needed basis. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and will run for up to three years with a minimum one‑year guarantee. Vendors must maintain a parts facility in Jefferson County or a contiguous county, provide required certifications (W‑9, business license, E‑Verify, insurance, warranty, debarment), and submit a $500 bid bond for contracts exceeding $10,000. Prices must be firm for twelve months, include transportation, and the City will pay on net‑30 terms with an optional 2 % early‑payment discount.
