Description
The Evesham Township School District is seeking a qualified transportation provider to operate all student‑bus routes for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The contractor must furnish a fleet of school‑compliant buses, maintain an on‑site office and garage within 12 miles, staff each bus with certified drivers and aides, and meet extensive safety, reporting, and equipment requirements (GPS, cameras, radios, signage). The contract runs from September 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 and will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder after a public opening on June 16, 2026.
• Provide full‑time bus service for eligible public‑ and private‑school students, staff, and chaperones across all district routes.
• Maintain vehicle standards (registration, inspections, GPS tracking, surveillance cameras, two‑way radios, route signage) and a physical office/garage near the district office.
• Ensure driver qualifications (CDL, background checks, drug/alcohol testing, TB testing) and conduct required training, reporting, and emergency‑drill participation.
• Submit monthly invoices, adhere to penalty provisions for tardiness or missed pickups, and furnish insurance (5 M general & auto liability, workers’ comp) and performance bonds.
