Additive Injection System management at Yokota AB, Japan

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy intends to issue a firm-fixed-price sole source modification to Ahntech Inc. for the management of the additive injection system at Yokota Air Base (AB), Japan. The contractor will be responsible for adding additives to fuel, conducting laboratory testing, and providing operational assistance during the commissioning and operational test phases of the Additive Injector System. The contract will last for a ten-month period with an additional six-month extension option. The objective of this contract action is to ensure uninterrupted support for the government customers' critical jet fuel requirements. Key aspects of the job include: • Additive injection system management • Laboratory testing of petroleum products • Operational assistance during commissioning and operational test phases • Utilization of Static Dissipater Additive (SDA), Corrosion Inhibitor/Lubricity Improver Additive (CI/LI), and Anti-icing Additive (FSII) • Provision of labor, material, and vehicle resources necessary to move barrels/containers and operate facility in-line injector system(s)
