Description
The California Department of Transportation is seeking a certified Small Business (SB), Micro Business (MB), or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) to provide janitorial services for their facilities in San Mateo County and Santa Clara County. The services include regular janitorial tasks such as sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary labor, tools, user materials, cleaning supplies, and equipment to perform the services. The contract term is estimated to be one year.
• The services will be performed at two locations: 585 Linda Mar, Pacifica, CA 94044 in San Mateo County and 2350 Page Mill Road, Palo Alto, CA 94304 in Santa Clara County.
• The contractor must possess a valid and current registration with the Labor Commissioner's Office at the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR).
• The contractor must provide price quotes in compliance with the Wages and Employee Benefits or In Lieu Cash Payments as described in the IFPQ.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the California Civil Rights Laws and the Darfur Contracting Act.
• The contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance providing proof of insurance to the Division of Procurement and Contracts within 10 workdays from the date of notification of award.
