Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified health‑care provider to deliver comprehensive on‑site medical, dental (basic), and mental‑health services to inmates at the Marinette County Jail. The contractor must staff physicians or physician assistants, nurses, and a mental‑health professional, manage medication administration, provide health education, and handle emergency and routine care while complying with state and federal regulations. The contract is a three‑year firm‑fixed‑price agreement with optional two‑year extensions, paid in monthly installments.
• Core services: weekly on‑site physician/PA visits, 84 hours/week nursing coverage (including weekends), 24 hours/week mental‑health professional, 24/7 telephone availability, medication management, health screenings, basic dental care, and health education.
• Optional services (priced separately): extended health staffing, 24/7 crisis intervention, hospitalization coordination, and alternate service plans.
• Vendor requirements: prior correctional health experience, appropriate licensing, background checks for all staff, insurance coverage (minimum $1 M/$5 M professional liability), and ability to use the county’s existing medical equipment and hard‑wired network.
