Director of Protestant Music Ministries - Dover AFB

The US Air Force is seeking a Director of Protestant Music Ministries to provide music direction and accompaniment for Protestant worship services at Dover AFB. The contractor will be responsible for leading congregational singing, providing musical support, and recruiting and training volunteers. The contractor must demonstrate an understanding of Protestant theology and worship flow, and have experience leading music in a Protestant congregational setting. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the possibility of renewal. The contractor will be required to work 2.5 hours per week, with additional hours for special services and meetings. • Provide music direction and accompaniment for Protestant worship services • Lead congregational singing and provide musical support • Recruit and train volunteers to form a vibrant musical worship team • Coordinate with the Chaplain and other staff to plan music and singing • Ensure compliance with all copyright laws and regulations • Maintain a continuity binder with music lists, service plans, and volunteer contact information
