Remote Minehunting (RMH) Module

The Naval Sea Systems Command is soliciting proposals for the Remote Minehunting (RMH) Module, which is designed to detect, classify, and localize mines. The scope of the effort includes RMH Module production, associated engineering support, and spares. The RMH Module will replace the legacy AN/AQS-20 system and will be used to support Fleet Mine Countermeasures (MCM) deployments. The contract is expected to be awarded in August 2026, and the project duration is estimated to be 5 years. Key features of the RMH Module include: * A Towed Body (TB) that can be deployed and retrieved from the Mine Countermeasures Unmanned Surface Vehicle (MCM USV) * A Payload Delivery System (PDS) that provides structural, power, and communications interfaces to the TB * Associated software and supporting equipment The solicitation is open to all eligible offerors, and the Government anticipates making a single award.
