Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service (USFS) is seeking a Mechanic with a Service Truck to provide services for local, regional, and national fire suppression, all-hazard incidents, and prescribed fire project work. The contractor will be responsible for providing all equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, lodging, and personnel necessary to meet or exceed agreement specifications. The contract will be awarded to responsible quoters whose quotes conform to the solicitation and are advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors.
Key aspects of the job include:
* Providing a Mechanic with a Service Truck to support fire suppression and other incidents
* Meeting equipment and personnel requirements outlined in the solicitation
* Coordinating with the USFS and other agencies to provide services
