Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking qualified contractors to perform cosmetic interior building repairs at its Boonville and Willits maintenance stations in Mendocino County. The work includes interior wall demolition, electrical upgrades, flooring removal and installation, interior door replacement, exterior painting, fixture upgrades, and the provision of chair mats, all performed in compliance with applicable licensing, safety, and warranty requirements.
• Required licenses: Class B General Building, Class C‑10 Electrical, Class C‑15 Flooring, Class C‑33 Painting.
• Scope covers demolition, new flooring (Mohawk or equivalent), interior door fabrication (hollow‑metal with security glass), exterior paint (DTM finish), and new restroom accessories.
• Mandatory site inspection on April 30 2026; bid submission deadline May 21 2026; award expected June 5 2026; contract period roughly June 15 2026 – Feb 14 2027.
