7A21--FCS Express Software NOTICE TO SOLE SOURCE

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 22, is issuing a notice of intent to sole source the FCS Express software from De Novo Software LLC. The software is required for the VA San Diego Healthcare System to analyze and track flow cytometry data sets for patient care. The contract will be for a base plus-4 year period, and De Novo is the only contractor capable of providing these services due to the proprietary nature of the software. • The software will provide limited secure access to FCS Express Flow Cytometry software for 11 users. • The software will support clinical lab analysis of data for patient testing. • The program has been validated with current processes as an effective means for organizing and reporting data. • The contract will cover the cost of the yearly licensing fee for FCS Express.
