Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to repair and replace infrared heaters in Building 438 at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the project. The work must be performed in compliance with all applicable regulations, including the elimination of Class I Ozone Depleting Substances.
• The project requires the contractor to begin performance within 14 calendar days and complete it within 180 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.
• The contractor must obtain base identification and vehicle passes for all personnel who make frequent visits to or perform work on the Department of the Air Force installation.
• The contractor is required to submit past performance information for two recent and relevant projects with their proposal.
• The contractor must provide a 20% bid bond with their proposal, and a payment and performance bond will be required if the award is over $150,000.
