Description

The Los Alamos National Laboratory is offering a technology licensing opportunity for Engineered Porous Print Materials. This technology enables the production of complex, high-surface-area structures with precisely engineered porosity at macro, micro, and nano scales. The process uses a single printable composition and a standard stereolithography printer, simplifying the production of advanced porous materials. The technology has various market applications, including catalysis, energy storage, thermal management, filtration and separations, biomedical, and lightweight structures. • The technology uses a single-resin workflow, eliminating the need for multiple coating steps. • It enables multi-scale porosity in one printed part. • It works across several material types. • It is compatible with standard stereolithography equipment. • Internal pores stay connected and accessible. • Pore size and density can be adjusted through formulation and processing.
