Description
The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, is seeking a contractor to provide dairy products for the FCI Danbury facility. The required products include pasteurized whole milk, cottage cheese, and sour cream. The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local mandatory requirements and regulations.
The key requirements of this opportunity include:
• Providing pasteurized whole milk, 900 1/2 pints weekly, and 1850 5-gallon containers
• Providing cottage cheese, 110 5-gallon containers, with a remaining shelf life of at least 60 days
• Providing sour cream, 5-pound containers, 4 per week
• Delivering products on a weekly basis throughout the quarter
• Complying with all applicable Federal, State, and local mandatory requirements and regulations
