Description
The City of Alexandria is seeking vendors to supply and deliver spun pre‑stressed concrete poles that are equivalent to wood poles for its electric distribution system. The poles must meet RUS Bulletin 1724E‑206 specifications, be round in shape, and cover lengths from 30 ft to 100 ft with various load classes. Delivery is FOB Destination, freight‑prepaid, and must occur within ten weeks of award. The contract is a 12‑month, firm‑price agreement with no bid or performance bond required.
• Must provide unit prices for each pole height/class; quantities “as needed”.
• Poles ≥ 60 ft require two 2‑in. vent holes; all poles need a non‑corrosive identification plate.
• Compliance with the 2020 Executive Order on Securing the Bulk Power System and AFEAT minority‑business participation is mandatory.
• Bids are sealed, due 30 June 2026 (10:00 AM CST/CDT); questions due 18 June 2026.
