Highland Park RFP for ZipLine for Ives Field

The City of Highland Park, Michigan is seeking respondents to a Request for Proposals from qualified play equipment companies for the purchase, freight, delivery, and unloading of a zipline to be located at Ives Field, Highland Park, Michigan. The city is seeking pricing proposals for a single zipline and a double zipline. Key requirements for the zipline include: single zipline with inclusive seat, two-way ride, rubber-wrapped chain, age range of 5 to 12 years, and meeting ASTM and CSA standards. The proposal should include the following: Attachment “A” – Pricing Proposal, one paper copy of the proposal with color copy design plan, list of 3 references on similar projects, proof of workman’s compensation, current liability insurance coverage, and proposed warranty terms. • The zipline should be suitable for the 5-12 year old age group and meet applicable Federal and State industry standards for safety and accessibility. • The zipline components will be delivered to the site and staged in a designated area. • The installation and foundations will be included in a separate contract. • The zipline will use a similar color palette as the proposed Ives Field Playground equipment selected bid. • Proposals will be scored based upon several factors, including proposal cost, zipline quality, and ability to meet industry standards.
