MEAD VALLEY WELLNESS VILLAGE MENTAL HEALTH URGENT CARE SERVICES

The County of Riverside is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to provide 24-hour peer-to-peer mental health urgent care services at the Mead Valley Wellness Village. The services will be provided to persons aged 5 and above, including youth, adolescents, and transitional aged youth, adults, and older adults. The goal of the program is to provide crisis stabilization services and minimize the need for inpatient hospitalization. The selected contractor will be required to provide services on a 24/7 basis, 365 days a year. The program will serve child, youth, and adult residents of Riverside County who are referred by the RUHS-BH system of care or their designees. • The program will provide assessment, counseling, peer support, and treatment for co-occurring substance use disorders. • The program will also provide medication services, including the use of Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT). • The contractor will be required to utilize the System of Periods of Allowable Treatment for Crisis Stabilization Services as defined by Title 9. • The contractor will be required to provide services in a home-like setting and to establish a Recovery-based, welcoming environment.
