Description
The City of Austin is seeking a qualified contractor to perform annual and as‑needed nondestructive inspections, testing, and certification of its fleet of aerial devices (ladder trucks, man‑lifts, forklifts, etc.) and approximately 7,200 linear feet of ground ladders. Work will be performed at designated city fleet service centers and includes visual, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye‑penetrant, torque, dielectric, load, and compliance testing per NFPA 1910 and NFPA 1932 standards. The contractor must provide detailed inspection reports, certificates of compliance, and affix certification stickers on each unit. The contract is indefinite‑quantity with optional multi‑year extensions and requires the contractor to prioritize city orders, maintain ASNT certification, and supply invoices electronically.
