ALTA DRONE

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is seeking to purchase an ALTA DRONE, specifically the Freefly Alta X (blue drone), to deploy a custom NRL lidar with other tactical systems. The drone must be able to lift more than 10kg and comply with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The purchase will include a Buy American—Free Trade Agreements clause (FAR 52.225-3). • The drone must be brand name or equal in accordance with FAR 52.211-6. • The vendor must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), an OEM authorized dealer, an authorized distributor, or an authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system. • The drone must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. • The purchase will include a 12V DC-DC regulator to power the payload from the drone batteries.
