Description
The California Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a qualified contractor to provide ongoing janitorial services for the Statewide Program Support Center. The contractor will be responsible for providing daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, and yearly janitorial services to 92,000 square feet of facility restrooms, breakrooms, office spaces, lobby, reception desk, hallways, training classrooms, kitchenettes, windows, outdoor seating areas, and floors. The contract term is 36 months, and the contractor must meet all licenses and certifications required to perform the services.
• The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to perform the services.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonds as required by the State.
• The contractor must comply with the State's preference programs, including the Small Business Preference and the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Requirement.
• The contractor must provide monthly reports to the contracting agency documenting compliance with GC Section 19134.
