Request for Qualifications - DEQ Project # SRF-W-0050

The Town of Lucama is seeking professional engineering services to assist in the rehabilitation of existing lift stations within the Town's collection system. The project includes the installation of new pumps, valves, chains, hoists, floats, and associated control panels and fittings to replace/rehabilitate the existing stations. The selected firm will be responsible for developing an engineering report, preparing the final design and construction bid package, and providing construction inspection services. The project is funded by a Clean Water State Revolving Fund Grant award in the amount of $3,380,025. Key aspects of the project include: • Rehabilitation of four existing lift stations • Installation of automatic bar screen insert to automate debris removal • Improvement of the overall wastewater treatment process • Installation of bypass pumping ports, wet well relining, and emergency backup generators • Improved SCADA controls and monitoring equipment • Development of an engineering report and construction bid package • Construction inspection services
