SRF Water System Upgrades

The City of Green Cove Springs is soliciting proposals for the SRF Water System Upgrades project, which includes the replacement of jockey and high service pumps, valve installation and modification, and ground storage tank and hydropneumatic tank construction. The project aims to increase the available service pressure to Magnolia Point. The key components of the project include: • Jockey Pumps: 400 gpm @ 196 ft (TDH) | 85 psig • HS Pumps: 1,200 gpm @ 196 ft (TDH) | 85 psig • Magnolia Point Loop Control Station 1 and Station 2 valving modifications • Harbor Road Elevated Storage Tank (EST) hydraulic altitude valve removal and replacement • Associated electrical and instrumentation improvements • Bonaventure EST Improvements: Hydraulic altitude valve removal and replacement The project also includes two additive alternates: the construction of a 200,000-gallon Ground Storage Tank 3 (GST 3) with a conventional tray aerator, and the construction of two 10,000-gallon hydropneumatic tanks (Hydro Tanks) with an air compressor.
