Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a vendor to provide an Admissions, Discharge, and Transfer (ADT) electronic notification service using a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. The service will be used to notify VA Medical Centers (VAMCs) when Veterans receive emergency care at community care providers. The contractor will be required to provide real-time notifications, ensure data synchronization, and comply with relevant privacy regulations, including HIPAA. The initial contract will cover two VAMCs, with the possibility of expanding to additional sites. The contractor will be responsible for implementing the SaaS solution, providing technical support and maintenance, and ensuring the security and integrity of the system. Key deliverables include a Contractor Project Management Plan, ADT Service implementation, and monthly progress reports.
