Recycling Processing Services for Non-Curbside Collections

The City of Austin seeks a recycling processor to sort, process, store, market, and sell single-stream recyclable material. The selected contractor will be responsible for picking up commodities collected at RRDOC and receiving commodities collected by ARR from City facilities. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror submitting the low responsive bid, or best value responsive bid. Key aspects of the job include: • Sorting and processing of single-stream recyclable material • Storage and marketing of recyclable materials • Pickup of commodities collected at RRDOC and receipt of commodities collected by ARR from City facilities • Compliance with all City ordinances concerning the purchasing process • Ability to perform the contract for an indefinite quantity of goods and/or services
