NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

The Air Force District Washington (AFDW) intends to award a sole source contract to The Air Force Sergeants Association for the Worldwide Space Conference. The contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition. The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which states that contracting officers may solicit from one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. • The contract is for the Worldwide Space Conference. • The Air Force Sergeants Association is the intended contractor. • The contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition. • The authority for soliciting a single source is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
