Engineering Service: Front Street - Virgin Acres County Improvement District of Mohave County, Arizona

The County of Mohave is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide professional civil engineering services for the Front Street - Virgin Acres County Improvement District project. The selected firm will serve as the District Engineer and provide complete professional services necessary to research, assess, plan, locate, design, and administer the construction and improvement district activities. The project involves constructing a two-lane non-curb road that meets Mohave County Standard Specifications and Details, Mohave County Drainage Design Manual, and Mohave County Standard Detail Section No. 60 requirements. The road structure may consist of stabilized aggregate base course or asphalt millings capped with double chip seal surface treatment. The project also includes obtaining right-of-way from a private property owner and potentially using eminent domain proceedings. • The project requires the preparation of construction plans, specifications, and contract documents. • The selected firm will provide project management, attend pre-construction and construction meetings, and evaluate and make recommendations for pay requests. • The firm will also be responsible for preparing monthly progress reports, attending public hearings, and obtaining and coordinating with the District bond council and financial consultant. • The project is expected to be completed within a certain timeframe, and the selected firm will be required to provide a detailed scope of projected services. • The County will designate a County Project Manager to act as the primary contact for the project and oversee the Consultant's performance.
