Drilling and Constructing Well No.17-A and 18-A at Courtney Bend Water Plant

The City of Independence, Missouri is seeking bids from qualified contractors to drill and construct two production wells, Well No. 17-A and Well No. 18-A, at the Courtney Bend Water Plant. The project includes excavating and constructing the wells, providing and installing pumping equipment, discharge piping, and completing all appurtenant work as specified. The contractor will be required to perform all necessary labor and provide all materials, supplies, and equipment. The project must be completed within 150 consecutive calendar days from the date of the written order to proceed. • The contractor must have ten verifiable sources of satisfactory completion of a job of this size, scope, and magnitude within the past three years. • The contractor must provide material safety data sheets and listings of NSF approvals where required by specification of all chemicals they are proposing to use on site prior to work beginning. • The property and area surrounding the well site shall be left in a clean and orderly manner while the work is being performed and after the completion of the work said property shall be returned to its previous condition before start of project. • The contractor shall not commence work under this contract until they have obtained all insurance required under this section and elsewhere in the contract documents.
