Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a Lower Lobe Loader, also known as an Aircraft Cargo Loader, for use at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The loader must be suitable for use on Boeing 747 and 777 lower lobe compartments, and must have a minimum rated lifting capacity of 7 tons. The Air Force is also looking for bi-annual maintenance options or extended/increased warranty options that include routine maintenance. Key features of the loader include:
• A minimum main platform lifting height of 0.49 meters and a maximum of 3.7 meters
• A minimum front platform lifting height of 1.8 meters and a maximum of 3.7 meters
• A cargo loading deck width of 3.26 meters
• Mechanical omni rollers on the deck to spin baggage bins into proper configuration
The Air Force is looking for a single loader, and is interested in maintenance options to ensure the longevity of the equipment.
