CITYWIDE ON-CALL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE, HANDYPERSON, AND SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES

The City of Charlottesville is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide on-call property maintenance, handyperson, and snow removal services on a citywide basis. The contract will be for one year, with the option to renew for up to five additional one-year terms. The contractor will be required to provide various services, including grass mowing, brush cutting, tree limb trimming, fence repair, and snow removal. The contractor must also provide 'before and after' photos of each task to document the work completed. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards as a result of this solicitation. • The contractor will be responsible for collecting violation notices from City Inspectors electronically or in person at City Hall during the business hours of 8:00am-5:00pm. • The contractor will be responsible for submitting 'before and after' photos of each task to document the work completed. • The City requires that service responses be made within 24 hours after receipt of notice from City inspectors. • The contractor must complete forms provided by the City which will then be submitted with invoices. • The contractor will be required to provide the vehicles, equipment, supplies, chemicals, and skilled personnel necessary to satisfactorily achieve the City's objective during the period of this contract.
