EPA PROTOCOL CALIBRATION AND AUDIT GASES

The County of Orange, OC Public Works, is seeking bids for the supply of specialty EPA Protocol Calibration and Audit Gases for the cogeneration gas turbine Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) to meet South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) emissions requirements. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to provide EPA Protocol Calibration and Audit Gases for CEMS. The contract will be for a period of 365 days, and the contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and a W-9 form. The contractor must also comply with the County's Safety and Loss Prevention Policy and Procedure #306. • The contractor must provide two cylinders of each EPA Protocol gas mixture on initial set-up, with one in use and one on standby. • The contractor must maintain a large inventory of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) reference materials and NIST-Traceable Reference Materials (NTRMs) to prepare and ship gas mixtures faster. • The contractor must guarantee EPA Protocol gas mixtures reliability and accuracy to avoid noncompliance penalties. • The contractor must provide customer service representatives during regular County business hours. • The contractor must assume all freight and delivery charges and coordinate all shipping and ensure all orders are delivered on time.
