Description
The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to demolish the existing scale house, prepare the site, construct a new multi‑disciplinary scale house, install two heavy‑duty truck scales, and complete associated pavement, concrete, drainage, and utility work. Bids must be submitted on a firm unit‑price basis by the revised deadline of April 2 2026. The project is a traditional public works construction effort requiring demolition, earthwork, building construction, equipment foundation work, and site improvements.
• Demolition of existing scale house and removal of associated materials.
• Complete new scale house construction (architectural, structural, MEP) and two inbound/outbound truck scales with foundations.
