Emergency Sinkhole Investigation and Repair

The U.S. Embassy to Belgium is seeking a contractor to investigate and repair a sinkhole that has opened on Rue Zinner within the U.S. Embassy compound. The contractor will be required to adhere to all applicable safety requirements associated with excavation, work with heavy machinery, and confined spaces. The scope of work includes sinkhole investigation, street stability analysis, excavation, repair, and backfilling. The contractor will also be required to provide a street stability analysis and pictures of the sinkhole source. • The contractor must inform the government immediately if excavation beyond five meters of depth is required due to the adjacent building foundation proximity. • The contractor shall be available to start the repairs immediately. • The contractor must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submitting an offer. • The contractor must submit their quotation electronically to [email protected] in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format, with a file size not exceeding 30MB.
