Description
The City of Atlanta, Department of Watershed Management, is seeking a candidate to provide on-call commercial diving services to support emergency response, infrastructure inspections, maintenance, repairs, confined-space diving, and deep tunnel operations across the City’s wastewater and drinking water systems. The services include physical inspections, evaluations, maintenance, and repair for underground linear infrastructure, deep tunnel systems, and other structures. The contractor must have at least five years of experience providing commercial diving services in industrial, wastewater, water treatment, or underground infrastructure environments. The contractor must also have experience performing underwater inspections, evaluations, maintenance, and repairs, as well as experience working in confined spaces and hazardous environments.
• Minimum five years of experience providing commercial diving services
• Experience performing underwater inspections, evaluations, maintenance, and repairs
• Experience working in confined spaces and hazardous environments
• Ability to mobilize qualified dive personnel and equipment within 24 hours for emergency task orders
• Ability to achieve dive-ready operations within 48 hours for emergency task orders
• Ability to provide written inspection reports with photographic documentation
• Demonstrated ability to perform emergency response diving services
