Letter of Interest: Federal Lobbyist

The Lee County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a federal lobbyist to represent the county's interests before the U.S. Congress and federal agencies. The goal of this representation is to secure favorable legislation and federal funding for county programs and projects. The selected consultant will work closely with county administration and other designated personnel to identify federal priorities and develop strategies to advance the county's interests. The scope of work includes providing personnel assigned to the county's account, including experience, qualifications, and current clients, as well as a plan of approach and price/fee proposal. • The consultant will be required to submit a letter of interest, including the above information. • The consultant will be expected to work closely with county administration and other designated personnel. • The consultant will be required to develop and execute strategies to advance the county's interests. • The consultant will be expected to provide regular updates and progress reports to the county. • The consultant will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
