R605--NEJM & Catalyst Subscription MOD Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a modification to a commercial off-the-shelf web-based subscription to the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) titles. The subscription should be from the Massachusetts Medical Society Publisher and will be made available throughout the VA healthcare system. The vendor will provide access to a single online, web-based journal with main authentication through VA gateway IP addresses and secondary authentication through LibLynx IPs. The system should be 508 compliant and provide full-text articles in PDF format. The following are key requirements: • The subscription should include NEJM, NEJM Catalyst, NEJM Evidence, and NEJM AI • The system should be accessible via a variety of personal internet mobile devices • The platform must be https://www.nejm.org/medical-index and https://catalyst.nejm.org/ • Availability of usage statistics at an IP level is highly desirable • Articles can be emailed among VHA colleagues and used for any educational purpose
