Description
The US Army is seeking a vendor to provide a 3D metal printer system, including installation and training. The system must meet specific technical requirements, such as a laser configuration with a single 400-watt laser, extended build height, and reactive enabled capabilities. The vendor will be responsible for delivering, installing, and calibrating the system, as well as providing 2-3 days of onsite training. The training will cover system operation, powder handling, reactive metal safety, job setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• The system must be configured with a spot size of 50 microns.
• The system must be supplied with a glove box, sieving station, and safety equipment.
• The vendor must provide OEM-led training.
• The system must be installed and calibrated by certified OEM technicians at Fort Hood, TX.
• The vendor must submit invoicing following delivery, installation, and training.
