Budget estimate

$500,000 – $1,200,000

Based on typical NYS rural culvert replacement projects, the contract value usually ranges from $0.5 million for a standard box‑type culvert and modest approach work to $1.2 million for larger diameter structures, extensive drainage, and road reconstruction. The estimate considers material costs (concrete, steel, aggregate), equipment mobilization, labor under prevailing‑wage rates, and required bonds. Local market rates in upstate NY suggest the low end around $500 k and the high end near $1.2 M.
