Description
The California State Teachers' Retirement System (CalSTRS) is seeking a contractor to provide website maintenance and support services for the CalSTRS.com website, including a Content Management System (CMS). The contract will be for a period of three years, with an option to extend for two one-year periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing web hosting and maintenance services, as well as implementing a CMS. The contractor must have at least five years of experience providing web hosting and related services, and must have an office within 600 miles of Sacramento, California. The contractor's personnel assigned to this project must each have at least five years of journey-level experience in web hosting and maintenance, and related transition and/or implementation services.
Some key features of the project include:
* Providing a robust, enhanced, user-friendly website complete with a lineup of tools, resources, and detailed information that will help CalSTRS members understand the CalSTRS hybrid retirement system
* Integrating the website with existing member service sites (myCalSTRS.com) to continue providing members with personalized services to help them plan for and manage their financial future
* Ensuring the website is accessible and compliant with relevant laws and regulations
* Providing training and support to CalSTRS staff on the use and maintenance of the website and CMS
