USCG Alex Haley SSDG Repower & More

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is requesting quotes for the procurement of three (3) new Ship Service Diesel Generator (SSDG) sets, including engine and alternator integrated each on its own skid with generator and engine controls capable of communicating with switchboard control equipment. These Diesel Generator Engine sets will be installed on the USCG Alex Haley cutters. The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, and materials to provide, test, preserve, package, pack & mark, ready-for shipment SDGS Generator-Set and as detailed in accordance with this combine synopsis / solicitation and the attached Statement of Work document included as Attachment 1. Key requirements include: • Manufacturing and delivery of three SSDG Repower (Generator Set) within established timelines • Compliance with the attached Statement of Work document • Provision of technical training opportunities to the USCG • Compatibility with existing USCG logistics support and shipboard-specific existing electrical system and piping systems • Fuel efficiency and recorded reliability in service • Demonstrated compliance with applicable standards referenced in the SOW.
